The custom capping equipment developed by CROWN Closures Machinery, can accommodate many sizes and styles of closures. They are suitable for manufacturers of beverages, baby food, condiments, sauces and salsas. Closures can range from 27mm to 110mm twist, PT, CT, composite and press-on varieties. Systems are designed to operate at speeds up to 1,300 caps per minute depending on closure size, container profile and the required output and level of automation.
 Crown’s new and rebuilt capping systems provide manufacturers with a foundation to simplify future expansion. To further maximize operational efficiency, systems can be customized with right- or left-hand configurations, along with various conveyor lengths, electrical controls and sensor feedback options.

Crown’s cappers are constructed from durable stainless steel and engineered to operate in adverse conditions. The rebuilt cappers are stripped down to the bare frame and individual parts are rebuilt and replaced as required and re-assembled to look, function and perform to the standards of new machines.
Crown’s technical support specialists follow up every installation with on-site training for operators, electricians and maintenance staff. The customized training sessions ensure that workers fully understand how to run the machinery, assure successful cap applications and trouble-shoot potential problems.
All new and rebuilt cappers are constructed or refurbished in Crown’s Lancaster, Ohio facility.
