Publicep, part of Grupo Publicep, of Humanes de Madrid, Spain, has installed an HP Indigo press w3250 for the production of full-colour digital books. With the first installation of an HP Indigo commercial web press, in Spain Publicep is now able to offer end-to-end production of full-colour digital books via a web-to-print user interface.

Production on the HP Indigo press is carried out at printing speeds up to 4,000 full-colour pages (duplex) per hour, or 8,000 1- and 2-colour (duplex) pages per hour. The company also has a sheet-fed HP Indigo press 5000 that it uses for printing full-colour covers enabling it to offer a complete digital book production service.
