Big Presence For RPC Containers At Packaging Innovations 2012

RPC Containers will have a significant presence at Packaging Innovations 2012, at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham from 29 February-1 March. The RPC stand, F43-45, will feature the latest innovations and technology from six of RPC’s UK sites.
RPC Containers UKSC will be exhibiting a range of standard blow moulded containers for general use in many markets, along with examples of custom-designed containers demonstrating the capabilities of design and process. They include a radical new anti-glug 20L and 25L drum which was recently launched into the market. UKSC offers an extensive range of standard containers from 150ml to 30L with various neck and weight options. Standard and custom colour ranges are available to enhance product impact. A range of closures, with colour options, is offered to fit all standard necks. Comprehensive decoration facilities include silk screen printing, labelling and sleeving.
RPC Market Rasen will be showing a range of healthcare and postal vitamin packs, in addition to a number of examples of bespoke solutions which have been developed for individual customers.
RPC Oakham will be exhibiting pails and paint cans including Supertainer, its latest innovation in plastic paint can design that delivers a lower carbon footprint and enhanced decoration possibilities, while maintaining the same dimensions for logistics and on-shelf storage. RPC Oakham is the UK’s leading manufacturer of injection moulded open-top PP containers (paint cans from 1 to 6L and pails and buckets from 1.8 to 25L) for the paint and emulsions, DIY and food industries.
RPC Blackburn will be exhibiting its range of PET jars for confectionery and food, along with labelled tamper-evident containers for fresh food. Blackburn will also show its selection of 1.25L – 4L containers for food service applications. RPC Blackburn specialises in injection-moulding of PP open-top small pots for food & DIY markets (220ml-1.5L) offered in either a print or labelled format as well as tamper-evident PP rectangular and square containers, suitable for food and ice-cream, from 1.25L to 10L. Injection stretch-blow moulded wide mouth PET jars are offered in both labelled and sleeved formats.
RPC Bramlage Wiko UK will be showing airless pumps, dispensers and cream jars for the personal care and cosmetics market. They include the successful Magic SL, designed to ensure the controlled dosing and hygienic application of creams, gels and lotions across a range of viscosities. The team will also be on hand to discuss the new Barrier Injection Moulding technologies developed by the cluster. RPC Bramlage Wiko will be offering the range of Kilner style “Clip” jars available for the food market.
RPC Llantrisant will be exhibiting a range of blow-moulded containers for use in food, drink and industrial applications. RPC Llantrisant produces a range of injection stretch moulded and extrusion blow moulded bottles and containers from 50ml to 2 litres for the personal care, pharmaceutical, car care, veterinary, household chemicals and lifestyle drinks markets. In addition to standard containers, the in-house design facilities can create bespoke packs for specific customer requirements. Silk screen printing is also available.
